Tried it. Didn't like it. Found it boring and repetitive, mediocre graphics.

I tried the game really hoping to like it. Maybe it just isn't my cup of tea. Found the graphics to be so-so, game play to be boring and repetitive. Even for an arcade style game it seemed to be lacking any real creativity. Just wasn't at all my thing.

The game hasn't been released as a Universal binary but it works fine on Intel (the launch is just a bit longer). However I'd love to see a version with improved graphics resolution that would automatically turn the music off if it's already playing in iTunes.

I've had this game since it was introduced and love it on those days when things just get too tense. Or when I have a few minutes to kill.
While play doesn't change much at first blush, and the "location changes" mostly in its appearance, there are tricks and strategies you have to learn to deal with the changing number and type of enemies that come at you. Plus, the weapons rock! I particularly like the highest level laser beam.
So, if you're looking for a fun, inexpensive way to blow off steam, Kill Monty is it.
