Hey Man, I would not let those people intimidate you with their pointless legal threats. First, you are not doing any copyright infringement yourself, only providing the means with which to find material. Second, it's not illegal to have a copy of lyrics (especially if you have paid for the track). This is the equivalent of you searching on your own for the lyrics and copy/pasting them or even writing them out. It's too bad, I am really looking for a total solution for collecting art, lyrics and liner notes... no one seems to get the whole thing together right, and then when you start taking things away. And what about automating the whole thing? I would pay a serious fee for an ap that I could let loose on my iTunes library, or a playlist, and it automatically went through and placed art into tracks without art, and lyrics and liner notes into the notes section. Click and go.
Nothing seems to be close to this yet.

Since when is searching for song lyrics on the web illegal? This is bunk. And for a big company to threaten & bully a small developer is just plain mean.
I'm keeping my version 2.0 and will continue to use it to search for lyrics.

The ultimate tool, BUT ...

The new versioin offers promising features - particularly the saving of lyrics to iTunes. BUT it doesn't work with my iTunes 6.01 german. Too sad! Please fix it because I cannont live without it.
BTW: What about an auto-update feature - surely highly configurable thru rules; e.g.:
+ If there is no artwork for any song of whole album saved in iTunes then grab the first / biggest /smallest / oldest / youngest artwork and save it to iTunes.
+ If there is some artwork for any song of whole album saved in iTunes then save to all songs or show a dialog to replace from within iTunes / the InterNet.
+ and so on
Would be too cool, ey?

Won't Update All Songs

This is potentially a great program but it does not update the artwork on all songs for any given album. If that's important to you there is a lot more work involved in updating iTunes with this software. The author acknowledged my email quickly but after a week I've heard nothing more.

Great programme that works well for what I want (it never seems to find lyrics for the songs that I like; but I'm not too fussed about that!) I had no hesitation in paying the minimal registration fee.
I only have 3 real queries/problems:
1. Why do I get artwork presented in identical pairs? There is always 2 of each version of the album covers it finds.
2. It crashes fairly frequently and I have to force quit and relaunch to get it working again.
3. It would be good to be able to localise the searches. I live in the UK and I've noticed that the artwork & liner notes veer toward US versions of albums and some obscure albums that didn't get a US release don't show a result at all. In all cases I've found the correct artwork manually on amazon.co.uk.
Other than that a brilliant programme that gets a lot of use from me. Thanks.

I've tried many of the other programs that are available to download Album Artwork from the web...this program is far the best available. The fastest and most accurate I found!

This is a great product. I've been using it for a couple of days now to add album artwork and it is just so easy and convenient.
Most of the time it just finds the correct artwork immediately and I add it and update iTunes with two clicks. The "Update artwork for all songs in an album" option works just fine for me.
On the occassion where the standard search doesn't return the artwork I want, the Safari/Google integration is terrific.
I sent in my registration fee after two hours of use.

In the liner section. I copy the name of a track and paste it in iTunes to update the matching untitled track. iTunes and Utilitunes lag for a minute. When I take the control back, nothing has been paste.
