Slower but better quality

I use iMac Intel 2GHz, VRAM 128 MB, Memory 1GB, OS X 10.4.8 and QT 7.1.3. I set the Hardware Texture Compression in the PangeaVR Preferences to "never" as required. Pangea took twice the time to load but the image quality when panning was much smoother and sharper than QT.
In summary: Great app

Brian showed us how QTVRs *should* look. Panning is very smooth and depending on the amount of available RAM on your video card, sharp. Kudos to Brian.

hihagen
There is a lot of tools for MacOS X to make great panoramas.
PTMac 3 for stitching is like a standard tool for stitching these days.
Cubic Converter 2 is a great way assemble cubic panoramas.
.. and QTVR panoramas is NOT out of discussions.
QTVR content just requires more knowledge to make the
full screen, high quality output people want to see.
It is probably taken from the easy creation level,
where all people can make them,
to the high level pro creation.
