Bubblegym CommentaryVery Poor Demo - Version: 0.7.0, 8/16/2006 03:36AM PST

CascadeHush
It seems to work okay, but the demo only lets you play for about 5 seconds, which makes it a waste of bandwidth to download.

This might "work" on Intel macs, but it's still a PowerPC binary. My machine gets really hot playing it, which isn't a good thing when you have to hold your laptop to play.

Bubblegym ReviewNot Bad. - Version: 0.6.1, 2/2/2006 10:04PM PST

Fun? Not really. But very fascinating. The price is... well, it's fine, for what it is. I don't regret buying it. But I'll probably never use it again. Still, for what it is, it merits a high rating.

Bubblegym CommentaryGood effort, but theres much better way to play tilt games - Version: 0.3, 3/25/2005 09:40PM PST

Kudos to the bubble gym programmer, but if you like tilt gaming, you have to check out AMS2HID:

AMS2HID Site

It turns your tilt-sensor powerbook into a keyboard and a mouse, so you can use it with any game or app. Rolling ball and marble games, flight sims, car racing! Or combine AMS2HDI with a game like Neverball and trust me, it's tilt gaming heaven!

Another fun way to use this sensor, would be to make the mouse cursor behave like it's skidding around the screen, depending on how the computer is tilted.

It may not be particularly useful, (And potentially very annoying.) but I think it could be very amusing.

And how about that game where you try to get a ball bearing through a maze, without it falling into holes?

Lots of potential for endless fun and games.

Can't really get a good feel for it given it's limitations at this point, but it has a lot of promise. Keep up the great work!

and it actually works on my g5 tower too!!! (though it takes more energy to tilt, of course)

This concept has great potential for future games! I'm not overly fond of anything RealBasic, but as a proof of concept it's nice. Looking forward to future Cocoa versions in three dimensions :-).
