Product Description:

First River is an Amazon product search tool for Sherlock. Searching Amazon has never been easier. The Search screen is all about finding exactly what you are looking for. The Browse screen is a more casual look at Amazon. Click around and find the best selling products in the various product categories for all of the Amazon stores. Clicking on a product will bring up all the information about it including the picture, editorials, reviews, track listings, accessories, and similar products (when available).

Set the image box to be Drag & Drop enabled and you can move the artwork into iTunes for album covers. This is very handy for albums that have no cover art.

The item viewer now accommodates all users. Version 2.0 resolves many of the issues encountered in the first version.

The best part is the intuitive interface for the shopping cart. There are no descriptions required, the icons say it all. This is a full featured cart with 4 separate sections, one for Personal use, another for Work, and the last two are for Friends and Family.

This version support searching through all the Amazon stores located in the following countries: Unite States, Canadian, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Japan. Each country even has it's own shopping cart.

Add it to your Toolbar today and don't miss out.

PS. Also try running an Apple Channel to make sure that Sherlock works for you. Then try a third party Channel from the "Other Channels" line item. If these don't work for you, then your Sherlock is not functioning properly

email me at javalizard at mac dot com. Include in your email a description of what happens and a screen shot of the channel. Also, if you want to give me further debugging info then you can do this:

1) start the Terminal program, found in your utilities folder within your application folder.
2) Then enter this (without the quotes): "defaults write com.apple.Sherlock SherlockDebug 1"
3) Start the Console, found in the same directory as the Terminal.
4) Then run the channel (http://www.globalconscious.com)
5) take a look at the console. there _should_ be text from First River.
6) Send that to me and I'll be able to diagnose what went wrong.

I will ask for the console information if the screen shot doesn't give away the bug. AKA. you might as well follow the steps. It'll take less than 2 minutes and it will pin point the bug to the function. We can work it out from there.

Sherlock's only problem was not having more channels. This channel is nice and really adds to the function of sherlock. heck, it's much better than going to the web site. granted, I only ran it for the stuff I wanted but it did it great. the only fault I saw was trying to find out what the icons meant but it did no harm just clicking them. if there's no sherlock in tiger, I sure hope this becomes a widget.
