Hey guys, these programs have other uses than going around stealing music--I'm dying for a program to sync my laptop and desktop. I.E when I buy music on the road and my wife buys music on the desktop, and we want to merge our collection when I get home.
Ourtunes won't do this automatically to my knowledge. So far I've been updating my iPod on one computer, then extracting from it to the desktop in "update" mode. Can anybody recommend a more effiecient solution?

i can't seem to download this,, did apple shut it down? or is the link broken
but since then it has completely stopped working.
I have a 2004 12" Apple iBook G4.
When I click on the .jar file now, nothing at all happens. It doesn't load ourTunes. It doesn't do *anything* (the icon just expands as if it's going to open and then nothing happens)
I didn't change anything on my computer so I'm not sure why this is.
I've tried deleting the file and re-downloading it from your site and different mirrors, then restarting the computer, several times, and that doesn't make it work either.
I've started it with Safari and iTunes open, and with them closed.
I've tried it with my wireless network on, and with my hardwired ethernet plugged in. Still nothing.
