Send any audio to AirPort Express units, Apple TVs, and even other Macs and PCs, all in sync! It's your audio everywhere! With Airfoil you can take audio from any application and send to your AirPort Express units, as well as Apple TVs, and even other Macs and PCs running Airfoil Speakers! Transmit audio from RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player, and other media players. Send audio from web-based applications like Pandora, Last.fm, and other to the AirPort Express. You can even stream audio from audio devices like RadioSHARK, XM and Sirius radios, around your house.
What's new in this version:
- Airfoil now supports Airfoil Speakers for iPhone - transmit audio to your iPhone or iPod Touch!
- Airfoil Speakers has been updated with several improvements
- CPU usage when "Computer" speaker is not in use has been reduced.
- Airfoil automatically reconnects to speakers if they disappear from the network but reappear within 15 seconds.
- Icons for late-2008 MacBook and MacBook Pro models are now included.
- The Volume Up/Down menu items are now enabled when "Link Volume to System" is selected (using them will un-link the volume).
- Audio synchronization when transmitting to an Apple TV has been improved slightly.
- AppleScript support for FM tuning of RadioSharks has been fixed.
- Airfoil now includes Soundflower 1.4.2, which fixes an issue where System Audio could prevent RealPlayer 11 from launching.
- Airfoil now includes Instant Hijack 2.1.1, which fixes a crash in 64-bit processes with a large number of command-line arguments.
- Hijacker compatibility has been improved, with several applications added to the automatic MegaMix-mode list.
- The license window displays purchase date extracted from the registration code.
- Registration information is now written to disk immediately after entering it.
- The application's name and version shown in registration window.
- Holding Option and Shift while selecting About Airfoil will now bring up the debugger window.
- A bug where Airfoil could freeze when the Mac was woken from sleep has been fixed.
- A sensible error is now shown when connecting to remote speakers with an incorrect password.
- Two small AirTunes protocol bugs were corrected.
- A crash when debug logging was enabled while connecting to an Apple TV has been fixed.
- If the "Remember Password" box was checked but the remembered password was incorrect, Airfoil now prompts immediately for a password
- Airfoil no longer shows Dashboard group in source popup by default.
- The hijacker quit retry timeout has been increased.
- Airfoil Speakers now shows the name of the audio source being transmitted, when receiving from latest Airfoil.
- Airfoil Speakers now has a Mute menu item.
- Airfoil Speakers' status text displayed when waiting for a connection was changed.
- Airfoil Video Player has slightly improved audio/video synchronization during DVD playback.
- Airfoil Video Player now has the ability to choose the language when viewing multilingual QuickTime files.
- Airfoil Video Player now has an explicit error message when opening QuickTime files which have DRM.
- Airfoil Video Player now includes Perian 1.1.3.
- Airfoil Video Player now properly synchronizes the volume bar between full-screen and regular modes.

So if you plan to use this software, you should know that you will have a hard time not to be irritated when using Airfoil because of this bug! And it doesn't matter if you are using the latest Airport Express with 802.11n - that's not gonna help you!
