Product Description:

This little utility might not be at the top of your Quark 6 must-have features, but if you find yourself changing the case of selected text on a regular basis, you're probably wondering where the keyboard shortcut is. The answer - until now - is that there isn't one. Preferences allow you to choose which number key between 2 and 9 (0 and 1 are reserved by Quark) to use in combination with the Command key (otherwise known as the Apple key) to convert the selected text to upper or lower case. The text attributes stay the same, preserving fonts, weights, colors and any other attributes the selected text may have.

What's new in this version:

  • Minor alteration to the way preferences are handled.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.4 PPC
  • Mac OS X 10.3.9
  • Mac OS X 10.3

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
  • Quark XPress 6.0 or higher

MatrixCaseSwapper ReviewNot bad - Version: 1.0.4, 7/5/2005 03:43PM PST

Very nice utility! Unfortunately for me, I really need one that can convert text to become Title Case (first letter of each word is cap'd). I think some people would also like to see Sentence case (first letter of sentence is cap'd, rest are lower). Add these two options and I think you've got a perfect little utility! Otherwise, nice start!

MatrixCaseSwapper CommentaryAbout time! ;) - Version: 1.0.4, 7/5/2005 09:50AM PST

Someone did a new version of the long-lost "CHANGE-CASE" that we all used on versions 3.32 - 4.11. It used Cmd-5 for Upper Case, and Cmd-6 for Lower Case back then on the fly.

Lovely.
