Phew - 1.0

Phew Thank goodness.. a free backup app for Mac! Well, lets face it, there's been pretty much nothing in terms of decent backup solutions for Mac without having to dig in your pockets. Even Apple (at the time this is written) only offer the "Backup" application if you sign up to their .mac account. Now we love Apple, and the mac, but we feel that in todays climate of mass media and reducing paper systems, a backup application should be almost standard with every OS. It's true, Apple's OSX does have some very good file manipulation software 'under the hood', but still, its very difficult to access for non-unix savy users. So that is why we've decided to put a significant amount of work now and the future into "Phew", a decent backup app for Mac thats FREE. We hope you find this useful, and if you would like to contribute some small donation to our current and future efforts we'd very much appreciate it. Calculates size of backup folders and gives you a total size that your backups require. Ability to have a different destination for every backup item in your backup list. (Store some items on an external hard disk, and some on a server) Updates only newer files - saves backup time. Simple and easy to use! Upgrades in development
