Product Description:

Apple Mail displays most of the attached images directly in the messages. This feature may be useful, but when dealing with a complicated PDF or PostScript (PS, EPS) file, it turns viewing a message into a nightmare. Viewing a message with an attachment can take up to several minutes.

Mail Attachments Iconizer is a plug-in for Mail, which ensures that the attachments are always displayed as icons when a message is opened. Apart from this, you will be able to work with the attachments in the same way as before, and if you wish, you can even have the attachment displayed in place by selecting the option "View in Place" from the attachment context menu (you can open by control-clicking on the attachment).

What's new in this version:

Now fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger".

This add-on makes handling attachments in Mail.app a breeze. The author is be commended for developing this enhancement to Mail. It gets rid of Apple's messy handling of attachments in their, otherwise, superior eMail client. Attachment handling with Mail Attachments Iconizer is truly a breeze! Mail Attachments Iconizer is well worth its nominal fee! Truly, Mail Attachments Iconizer is an excellent value! Get it, YOU won't regret it!

Like others, I would prefer to pay less, but alas, over the years, I have paid much more for much less.

IMNHO, the developer has done a first-rate job in creating a robust, problem and conflict free application that does what it promises; even the tech support is first-rate. In sum, to the developer, I can but say thank you and bravo!
