Product Description:
shivering kittens is a cute little 'falling block' puzzle game for Mac OS X, where you must rescue as many kittens as possible before the time runs out - for every kitten you rescue, the time before the inevitable gameover is extended by a few more seconds...
What's new in this version:
- the shaded blocks introduced in version 1.4 to make it easier to tell where the blocks will land if you press the ‘fast drop’ key are now turned off by default; the turn the shaded blocks on or off, press the ‘g’ key.

This thing is selling for 3.95$ Honestly what more can you expect for that kind of price. If you think it's a ripoff then go get yourself a big bag of chips... geez... Personally I'd rather support a mac game developer, because in the long term who knows what he could be capable of. Everyone has humble beginnings, so stop the player-hating...

The controls seem to work fine, but the graphics display was very wrong on my system. When the kittens touched ground, they flew up about 50 degrees and started stacking up near the middle of the screen. Also, the lack of mac-like conventions (new game, pause, quit menu items) is noticeable. A little more work would go a long way.

Let's just start by saying this isn't for men. Clearly, it's more of a grandma-game. It's serious flaws are a lack of Mac OS conventions (Comand-Q doesn't quit the game, lack of a very mac-like interface).
However, it's adorably cute. And the cats go "meow" every time you rescue them. I found the instructions difficult to follow.
Despite this, it's actually a fun game to play once you figure out what to do.
