YMail.app Troubleshooting ReportWorks fine on 10.4.10 - Version: 0.4.3, 9/30/2007 11:53AM PST

I've just installed this app, been looking for something like this for ages as Yahoo standard doesn't
allow Mac Mail POP. It seems to work fine on Tiger 10.4.10 - I did get the "error" in the menu until I
entered my login / password in the Account preferences - then it was fine

YMail.app ReviewWorks for some, not others - Version: 0.4.3, 9/25/2006 09:55AM PST

Just downloaded this to try, as my fiancee wanted new mail notification, but prefers webmail to Mail.app (so she can access old/sent mail from wherever she is without things getting complicated). I tried it on my Intel iMac/10.4.7, and got the same result many others have - grey icon, with Error at the top of the menu.

Figured I'd try it on her machine just to be sure - she has a Mac mini G4/10.4.7. At first, it looked like it would have the same result, but then the icon turned red and gave an accurate message count for her account. Two test messages from me have worked properly, including opening Safari when she gets new mail.

Pity the developer isn't working on this any more, as it seems to work well when it works.

YMail.app Reviewworks fine for me - Version: 0.4.3, 9/2/2006 07:24PM PST

I've got it on a G4 tower with 10.4.7 and it works fine. I don't know why others might be having trouble with 10.4...

The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't show snippets of the new messages like Gmail Notifier does.
