Product Description:
RSS Menu is a very simple application that allows you to read any RSS or Atom feeds found on various websites. The application lives on the menubar and is available system wide, no need to switch applications back and forth.
Everytime a feed has new articles, you'll be notified.

What's new in this version:
- fixed a problem when showing the description of a feed in a tooltip
- removed the animation when the menu was updating which was causing too much flickering
- if a feed doesn't have a favourite icon, a generic icon will be used instead
- improved stability when loading a feed fails
- added customizable global menu items (which affect all feeds): update now, mark all read and mark all unread
- added feed authentication
- added menu icon, you can choose from 3 icons
- some interface changes
- fixed a bug when adding a feed
- com.edot-studios.rssmenu, located at ~/Library/Preferences (where ~ is your home folder)
- RSS Menu folder, located at ~/Library/Application Support (where ~ is your home folder)

Seriously, the RAM issue on this application needs to be fixed. It's inexcusable that this much RAM would be used for such a simple task. I agree with the other users that this is a good application, but too much RAM is being sacrificed from other processes for this thing.

This is a great app, in fact, the only RSS application I've found that meets my needs, a simple RSS reader for the menubar that displays a count of unread articles. Simple demands, but no other app out there seems to meet them.
This app is great, *except* IT EATS A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF RAM for no reason at all. Seriously, I have about 20 feeds and it regularly uses 100-150 MB of memory. I have no idea why this would happen, RSS feeds are TEXT for christsake. How could TEXT take up this much memory? It can't, so there's something very wrong here, this should otherwise by a very lightweight simple application.
Please fix the memory issue!
