Interarchy ReviewGreat application, but where are the updates; where is the developer/support? - Version: 9.0, 4/9/2008 11:24AM PST

I've been a long-time user of Interarchy since about version 3... The developer of this software up until version 8 (Peter N Lewis) was fantastic. Whenever I found bugs I would e-mail the developer and they would invariably try to fix them and often respond straight away to find out more details of the problem. The updates would be regular and thorough - usually eliminating problems quickly. For this, I remained loyal, knowing that the developer stood behind their product.

However, with version 9, the application changed hands to a new developer (Nolobe). Whilst this has brought improvements to the product, I discovered several bugs (some of them serious crashing bugs) and e-mailed the developer/support about them. 3 months later, I haven't heard a single word from them, and there have been absolutely no updates to this application. This situation seriously brings into question the developer's commitment to the product, and to the actual feasibility of using it going forward.

I'd say if you're interested in purchasing this, don't buy it until the developer shows some signs of supporting it.

Interarchy ReviewNot ready for prime time - Version: 9.0, 4/8/2008 04:29PM PST

This upgrade has been a serious disappointment. Their forum was full of complaints, but they've taken it down now for maintenance. I would be very cautious about this new developer, until we see an upgrade for some of these bugs.

Interarchy has been a great ftp and file transfer client, no doubt. We have to see if the new developer will keep up good work, or has just been trying to grab upgrade fees.

Cannot recommend at this time.

I've used Interarchy since its days as Anarchy (v1.4), and this is the best update EVER! Faster, easier to use. Just works.
