Northen: since when does "open source" mean disfunctional? If the software is not a robust release it should be a beta and not a "1.0" open source or not.

Is this worth downloading? Not really. It's slow, inaccurate, and pretty pointless.

This piece of software is a sort of pilot project, which is why it is released as open source.

"It is "Uncertain" about Quartz Extreme, even though I have an ATI Radeon 9800 with 128 MB VRAM. It says 10/100base-T ethernet when I have gigabit."

I do not have the video card chip ID table - if you are willing to contribute to the project by supplying a chip ID, please do so. About the ethernet, chances are, it is not running at gigabit speeds.

"especially with other free benchmarking apps out there that do so much more" Again, a work in project - feel free to contribute with ideas or actual code, if you feel you can do anything that would improve the program.

"especially with other free benchmarking apps out there that do so much more" The benchmark stress-tests your system, and if you don't have much memory, it is going to simulate heavy VM load.
