Keyword tool is exactly what I was hoping to find to bring back the sort of keyword assignments that I had with iphoto 4 but which went away with the clumsy interface for iphoto 6. Unfortunately this tool only works with ppc, not with intel, which is where I need it. I sure would like a version for intel.

I've found Keyword Assistant is best for adding and applying keywords and Keyword Tool is best for removing a keyword from a photo.

You might want to check out the great iPhoto plugin, Keyword Assistant, as well. Haven't tried this app, but it looks very similar in functionality (though KA works with Address Book too, looks much simpler).
