I'm also not getting past the point where Delicitunes looks for my playlists. I'm wondering if this may may happening because I use playlist folders in iTunes...

DeliciTunes ReviewGreat idea but . . . - Version: 0.2, 1/9/2006 02:46AM PST

Couldn't get it past looking up my playlists on my notebook. Maybe it has something to do with my music files being used over a network?
I would to see this working.

DeliciTunes CommentaryWorks perfectly with Library 1.5.2 - Version: 0.2, 9/8/2005 04:36AM PST

pmerel
Great job, did worked as expected. I have tried with a small itunes library of 30 albums, and everything was imported in my delicious library in seconds.

It is missing the artwork import yet, but we expect this from pierre on a next version (dis nous que tu vas le faire, hein!).

So i am going to test it with a >3000 albums itunes library and shall comment later on.

Thanxx for this nice utility.

DeliciTunes Troubleshooting ReportSeems to be working PERFECTLY now. - Version: 0.2, 8/15/2005 07:53AM PST

The corruption problem with my Delicious Library database seems to have been a FALSE warning from Delicious Library itself that is fixed with the 1.5.1 update.

DeliciTunes Reviewcan't recommend yet - Version: 0.2, 3/13/2005 03:55PM PST

Excellent idea and great start, but I cannot get this thing to work. It refuses to "find" my Delicious Library xml file no matter how many times I accurately set it up in the preferences. Wierd. Hopefully this will be correccted. This is a great idea and should have been included in Delicious Library itself for the $40 price tag!

DeliciTunes Troubleshooting ReportMissing iTunes information causes the problems - Version: 0.2, 2/16/2005 05:38PM PST

I don't know which part was causing it, but I had songs that had no artist, no album, or no genre. I filled in "Unspecified" for any tracks missing any of these three fields, and DeliciTunes read my library without problems.

It probably should be able to handle that, but for anyone having problems, try filling in those fields and see if it works.

DeliciTunes CommentaryDoesn't work - Version: 0.2, 2/12/2005 02:55PM PST

I've tried various combinations of playlists, apps open, backup files present etc. but the end result is the same. The application opens and after a while it lists the playlists from iTunes. You select a playlist, click Go and DeliciTunes crashes. Looking at the Delicious Library folder it has managed to create a backup file before it dies, but that's about it.

This will be a useful app for me when it's ready, but it's not there yet. I can't currently recommend it.

DeliciTunes Troubleshooting ReportWon't read iTunes Library.xml file - Version: 0.2, 2/1/2005 08:53AM PST

smkaiser

I let it run for a period of about 10 minutes, and then click on "Go!", and I get this message:
Read Error
Please choose a correct iTunes Library in the
preferences.

I have verified my iTunes Library file location is valid.

Also, immediately after launching the application, I get:
DeliciTunes[644] Exception raised during posting of notification. Ignored. exception: *** -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (0) beyond bounds (0)
in my console.log (/Library/Logs/Console//console.log).

I am running iTunes 4.7.1 on OS X 10.3.7. I have 47 smart playlists and 13 regular ones.
