Before we close the poll, we've decided to at least start with lowering the price of StatusQuo to $7. We think we can bring enough value in StatusQuo over time to make it worth at least this amount in the relatively short term. Stay tuned for more features as we upgrade the product over time!

Well, we've decided to ask our users what they think. Yes, some people do think it is worth something and a few, like you, think it should be free. But we know of some notebook users which think this is really useful when waking u p their computer. So, we decided to create a poll on our forums. You can visit the StatusQuo Poll and voice out your opinion on the pricing and future features of this product. Let us know, we'll listen!

OK, good, you didn't take my commentary personally, it wasn't meant in that tone.
What I'm saying is this: an application such as this should be a showcase for your talents. Look, let's be honest here... something like this should be basically the "resumé" for much bigger product that is actually WORTH money.
This application seems to add only minor features that, in the grand scheme of things, aren't really that necessary anyhow. The current chat applications all have their own versions of what this add-on offers. Perhaps not as intricate, but really, how many people will NEED such intricate away status messaging options, etc... My guess is very few.
Now I'm no expert, well ,OK, yes I am, my 2 sense says, use this application as afree add-on and have a site showcasing something else, some other software project, that you're working on that people actually NEED.
Does that make sense?
