This is an ideal program if you love to read and get your books at the library. I have found the developer extremely responsive to question and concerns. Go to the Help section and use report a Bug to contact him.

Can someone tell me how to edit the update frequency? - Version: 2.6b135, 10/28/2008 02:14PM PST

I want to change the update frequency to far less than the 2-hour selection. This is because the library I use ''force expires'' the cookie that Library Books utilizes in Firefox and thus falsely reports after that period that I have ''no borrowed items'' when in fact I do. I'd ideally like to set it up to update every 3-minutes to keep this cookie/session alive. Otherwise this really great utility I have used for so long is unfortunately dead in the water for me.
Can someone tell me how to edit the code itself or perhaps the preference file to do this? I can't be the only one with this problem.
Much appreciated.
