Product Description:

This is my first attempt at creating a Cocoa app for Mac OS X. It is a reasonably full-featured Tetris clone. Why make yet another clone of Tetris? I needed something that was reasonably easy to implement, and have written Tetris clones in several other language environments. Writing a Tetris clone would free me from having to reinvent algorithms I had already written, while allowing me to play with many aspects of the Cocoa API. Also I don't really like many of the current crop of Tetris clones available for OS X (nothing personal to their authors). Anyway. If you're running OS X, download it and tell me what you think.

GlenTris Review20 years now - Version: 1.0.1, 8/15/2005 01:51PM PST

I'm an old-time Tetris addict back in 1985 or so when i dropped bricks on a B&W 6" Macintosh and besides lacking of two-way rotation GlenTris doesnt allow to change kbrd settings.
Quinn is still unbeaten in recreating the feeling of the "original" Tetris, with a bonus bounce effect.
Keep up the good work anyway.

I have been playing this game for over a year and what a great, simple version of Tetris it is. Clean graphics and works like a charm. I had to drag the old preference file from my backup to play it on Tiger with 10 rows of junk but now that is sorted with the upgrade. Many thanks for a great version!
