Had to add printer driver using print center. After that printed 470 invitations without incident.

Had to use the old remove printer and then add back printer trick. This update seems to address the long idle time between print jobs. Don't have any numbers but it did seem to go much quicker.

I just used the updated driver and can no longer print from any app. I ran permissions repair after the update as usual and found several files that had incorrect settings. The printer utility sees the printer and can get ink levels and print a test page. When anything is sent to the printer it says job is printing then all jobs are stopped. I'm using OS 10.3.7 and had no problems from the printer before the update. I have emailed HP tech support to see if they can come up with a way to fix this. Until then I may have to go back to the driver that came with the install disk.
