The reason why people convert page layout docs into presentation is to let the sales team, usually equipped with PowerPoint (there are MANY more PowerPoint users than inDesign and QuarkXPress combined) to take the presentation and manipulate it themselves.

If one wants a slide show of an InDesign doc (with NO font issues, etc.) then just PDF it and run the slideshow in Acrobat Reader. Simple.

Very keen for this to work; we've done lots of presentations for our sales guys only for them to then say "great, now can I edit it?"...
Is there an error log I can explore?
