"What's new in this version... Cesptral
voices recognition ( Cepstral Voices )"

Excellent update, and a very welcome one.
I'm indebted to the developers for dealing
with this 'minor' problem I was having with
their app - very impressed.

.

While I really like the idea, I don't want to
listen to Apples built in voices. I am lucky
enough to have some of Cepstral's voices
installed on my system.
Library/speech/voices...

But Radio Days doesn't seem to register
them - which is a pity. Could it search this
folder in a future update ?

I love this app, it's small but it surely lives up to his promise! you don't even have to look at the screen to find out the song or the singer :-) the only thing i'd like it to improve is the voice volume, in my ibook i can'd hardly hear it, even at the max volume, while other apps, even the growl voice interface speak much louder. But it's a must-have app!

Radio Days ReviewUseful Utility; Additional Features Needed - Version: 1.0, 1/23/2005 05:59PM PST

Just what I was looking for for when I'm preparing dinner while iTunes' full-screen visualizer is engaged. Two features are missing: the ability to choose the announcer's voice; and the saving of preferences. One star lost for each of these.

Can it come with a script to launch it from iTunes?

Fun little app. I enjoy it. Works great. My suggestion: the ability to have random announcements and different voices.

Radio Days ReviewOkay, Maybe a little hasty - Version: 1.0, 1/17/2005 08:24AM PST

After rereading DONSL777's review, I tried again and select Safari instead. It works exectly as predicted.
Still- why not have the dialogue simply say "Select a browser"?
(Note to self- before writing out next review- test a little more thoroughly....its not good to look like an idiot in front of all these people.)

Radio Days ReviewAnnoying little program - Version: 1.0, 1/17/2005 08:14AM PST

I concur with DONSL777. Does not run without Internet Explorer. I eliminated Internet Explorer a LOOONG time ago. Without it, this little program will not only not run, but requires a force-quit to make the "Where is Internet Explorer" dialog to go away.
Neat idea- needs to improve execution.
