DVD Freedom Commentary. - Version: 1.0, 2/9/2005 10:01PM PST

OSEx for ripping if you want to make divx, etc. Or DVDBackup for an exact copy to your hard drive. My method to make a DVD copy of a DVD. Use DVDBackup to mirror the DVD to your HD. This will clear out the copy protection, region code etc. Use DVD2one to encode the DVDBackup copy (stripping out menues, subtitles, anything else you don't want). Burn the resulting image with toast,,,

Use Mac the Ripper - it is truly magical.

Is it free or is it shareware? ....make up your mind.
And does it remove encryption etc? - the lame description is hardly going to entice anyone to try it when there are other superb alternatives such as 'mac the ripper'.

DVD Freedom CommentaryImmediate Crash on first attempt. - Version: 1.0, 1/14/2005 07:17PM PST

When I selected a DVD, I immediately got a "Done" dialog before it had done anything.

When I selected a VIDEO_TS folder, I got a nil-object exception and a crash.
