It's so fast and simple which is different to similar software. However you can only chose the width of the images you are scaling, I would like an option to choose both, as I want to change the dimensions of the images.
Good Stuff !

My brother married last year ans as often goes there were plenty of (digital) pictures taken. The pictures were quite big in size, over 2 Mb per piece.
Now I love my brother, but just not enough to let him take up over 1Gb of valuable HD space od his marriage with a woman that I never really liked. I didn't want to throw it away either and resizing 350 pictures with Photoshop is bound to get tedious.
So I found this neat little piece of software. Just select a folder, choose the desired pixel width and there it goes. Pictures are perfect AND... much smaller. Thumbs up !
Some advice for future releases:
1) I should be able to choose wether or not the smaller pictures replace the big ones OR have them put in a seperate folder. For now you should first make a copy of your pictures if you want to keep the ones in original size aswell (for wathever reason).
2) Once it's starting to resize, the only thing you can see is a rolling black and white wheel, indicating the computer is busy. In a future release I would like to see a moving bar with a counter, like one can see when emptying the trash can or pasting a higher amount of files in a folder. This way we would be sure it actually works.
3) There should be a cancel button, undoing the complete process before the end of it.
4) a drag-n-drop feature would be nice, instead of having to browse the computer for the right folder
5) it should also resize picture located in other folders within the selected folder. even better would be having a dialog box asking if this should be done.
Good work though !
