Product Description:
OSS 3D utilizes state of art DSP technology allowing addition of bass spatialization, 3D surround and various other real-time enhancements of the sound played through your system.
OSS 3D provides 3d sound expansions similar to QSound and Spatializer, with additional functionality like Speaker Resonance Correction, Virtual Subwoofer, Brainwave inductance, High Frequency Restoration, Center channel control, and more. Also included a studio quality N-band equalizer with built-in peak limiter to replace default one. OSS 3D greatly improves audio quality in movies and music.

Similar to "psr", I experienced some problems after installing 2.3b7. Although the program didn't crash, by default, it was set to "manual", and all of the settings on the various tabs were set to the far left without exception. In other words, all of the presets in the pull-down menu were useless, because their settings on the tabs were set to the far left...every single one of them. I am likewise going back to 2.3b6 until this issue is fixed.

I uninstalled all files related to previous versions of OSS 3D before installing version 2.3b7 on my 733MHz G4 with Tiger 10.4.11, but it crashes many applications. It also launches with everything off or set so that you can't hear anything. I had saved version 2.3b6 and re-installed it. It works great! I stay with it for now. I rate version 2.3b6 excellent, but stability problems with version 2.3b7 brings my ratings down some.

Very interested in application but without airtunes support it's a no-go. I play all my music from either my powerbook or intel imac streamed to my home stereo via airtunes/iTunes. Developer's site says airtunes support is in process, so I just wanted to encourage them to develop that. Thanks!!!
