The download from MacFixIt works just fine on my Mac Pro with 0S X 10.4.11. I haven't tried it in Leopard, yet. I am visually impaired and often lose track of the cursor, particularly in applications where it becomes a crossbeam and is almost invisible. Mouseposé is essential on my Macs. My work would be much more difficult and frustrating without it.
there's a free alternative that accomplishes the same thing in a different way, and the software's already on your machine. just go System Preferences -> Universal Access -> Mouse & Trackpad and slide the "Cursor Size" slider to the right until you like the size of your now-bigger cursor.
i put the slider to the halfway mark a couple years ago and have never had to hunt for my cursor since. don't know why it wouldn't have the same effect for an audience.
