Xbox Live Friends loads your friends list information right from Xbox.com for up to the minute updates about exactly who's online and what they're playing. All in a beautiful interface that you come to expect from Apple. Only we aren't Apple. But we're just as cool. Features include: Up-to the minute friends list information, automatically tries to keep you signed in, Halo 2 Player and clan stats, Halo 2 Emblem Designer, notification bezels when people's online status changes, can display real names instead of gamertags, and last but not least: a really really ridiculously good-looking interface. All Xbox Live Friends requires is that you link your gamertag to your Microsoft .NET passport. All the passwords and authentication are handled through Microsoft's passport system, so Xbox Live Friends is as secure as Microsoft is. Take that how you want. Please note that Xbox.com can sometimes become overloaded and claim that "you have no Xbox Live friends," but this problem is Microsoft's fault, is not specific to this app, and is usually fixed within the day.
