Product Description:

Einstein Emulator is a NewtonOS 2.1 emulator (currently only supports US MP2x00). It is part of a larger project aiming at porting NewtonOS to Unix-based PDAs.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed the rotation problem
  • Included Frank Gruendel's NewtTest program
  • Wrote a README file.

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Mac OS X 10.2
  • Mac OS X 10.1
  • Mac OS X 10.0

Additional Requirements:

  • Apple's X11
    A MP2x00 US ROM (extraction of it requires a MP2x00 US, Classic and a serial port).

Haven't tried this yet, but gotta get my 2100 started up again and that ROM file extracted.
