I’m now a happy user of a solid chess game after having purchased Chessmaster 9000 back in December 2003! It used to crash constantly under 10.4 and was seriously buggy. With version 1.0.2 these bugs were eventually fixed and I just wonder why I had to wait TWO years to play the game. It is a great game with lots of features, good graphics and all... but why or why is Feral’s customer support so bad?

This is exactly the same beta I was given mid June 2005 when complaining about the incompatibility of Chessmaster 9000 under MacOS X 10.4. I wonder why it took Feral so long to post the patch, and even more, why no work was carried out between June 2005 and January 2006.

Certainly, this way of treating customers who have cashed out hard dough on a product that’s faulty needs to be considered when contemplating future purchases of software bearing the Feral brand. By no means is 1.02b2 the end of the road... personally I must have filed some five bug reports on that version alone... back in July 2005. So, go figure when those will be fixed.
