Works Great BUT Sometimes Needs Help From UnRarX

This app has been very stable and when applied to complete and uncorrupted files it works perfectly.
Most files I've downloaded tend to be corrupted to some degree, however, and only by processing them through UnRarX first will Rar Expander work on them. Of course this would vary with your news server, but in my case, I'd estimate that 80% of the files I've downloaded needed to be pre-processed with UnRarX before Rar Expander could handle them.
This is not a knock on Rar Expander. The documentation explains its license limitations. Together the two programs are dynamic, stable and essential.

I used RAR Expander three or four times. Worked fine. Now I try to open the application and the application no longer works. The white RAR Expander window appears that tells me to "use expand in the file menu". However no menu bar appears, hence no access to an expand command and I get the spinning ball when placing the cursor over the application window. The ball spins endlessly and I have to "force quit" to close the application. It is as if the application will no longer completely load. I completly removed the application and prefs from the computer and reinstalled, restarted etc. Same result. Went to web site for support and the page for application is now blank. Support link for the application is supposed to be found on the (blank) application page.
I liked the application when it was working. Too bad it's failed me.
