there seems to be an issue running this in 10.4 - If I am attempting to convert more then one PCM file to AIFF, unless I quit the application between each attempt - it seems to crash on me..
other then this major issue, It works perfectly - great product - made it much easier on me with this software

Does just what it says. Using YadeX to release my VOB into streams, I still need the .aiff (pcm audio) from the same stream. I've been using MPEG2 Works (just got v4) for different things - but it cannot handle PCM audio - and this little app does it quickly and efficiently, with no audible errors.
Excellent tool to have on hand.

It is unable to convert Sample Rate, though the program makes it appear that you can. In my case I had a 48kHz PCM file and I tried to convert to a 44.1kHz AIFF file. The program can not do this. It can create 48kHz AIFF from the 48kHz PCM file which then later can be converted using QuickTime Pro or Peak. In my case I selected the improper label of 44.1kHz instead of 48kHz and the resulting audio file was 9 percent to slow--a very easy mistake that might not get caught.
Severin from Verek Support was very patient and very helpful at pointing out my wrong assumptions about this program--he definitely earns 5 stars....
but the program itself.... ehh... I just think it could be a bit more user friendly.
