Product Description:

Some people are wondering why I put this out so early. I am sorry and I should have been more clear. This browser is not intended for normal use. This is only on VersionTracker so that you can give feedback. I promise that you will be able to get a good version of iSurf within a year. Remember, DO NOT download this if you are looking for a nice alternative to Safari. The reason the short description of iSurf includes Futuristic is because it has a long future, regardless of what most think. iSurf Beta 1 Fix 4 will be along within a month.

What's new in this version:

A few small changes along with new browser buttons. Please comment on the new version because I need things to change. Also, I fixed the problem someone commented on about a few pixels on each side of the user pane. You need to put suggestions down because so far, most of the suggestions have been used. The VersionTracker people are probably getting annoyed with me by now, so I will not update this for a week or 2, or when I get enough new features to make it worth updating.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.3

Additional Requirements:

  • Mac OS X 10.3
  • Safari
  • Internet Connection
  • The willingness to report feedback

I keep having high hopes for this only to be let down. When I try to open the app it just bounces in the dock a couple time and then goes away. Nothing more happens. I'll give this one more chance on the next fix, but after that, I'll just pass over any future updates and not even bother with a download.

The higher up on the face one rubs the more frustrated one reveals ones self to be. Speaking only for myself, I am at the forehead rubbing downwards. I placed this (I am still shaking my head at the 1.5 version number) well I cannot in good conscience call it an abomination, on a fairly pristine 10.3.9 iMac G3 700 MHz, double clicked it and it imploded upon itself almost immediately. I will give it 2 stars in an anticipated effort of better things to come over 1.3, but PLEASE do NOT even try to say it is above Shiira in performance and preference. To date, not on it's best day and Shiira's worst.

My download of iSurf wouldn't even open. Yes I have Speed Download 3.0.10 installed - I'm on a new iMac G5 2Ghz with 2 Gb ram running OSX 10.4.1.
Does someone not have his act together yet? And I'll be interested to see if this feedback disappears quickly from the comments here.
