When you have a smaller number of large files on CDs or DVDs this is a real time saver:
Just keep a folder with the Aliases on your HD and with the CM you know the name of the CD /DVD to insert with one control-click. Picks up where Apple left off as the Finder only asks you to insert the volume where the file resides but does not tell the name.
Great for storing a collection of your family movies on DVD-Rs.
