xGestures CommentaryFeature Request - Two-finger gestures - Version: 1.75, 11/19/2009 01:16PM PST

Dev, please, please, please allow for allow two-finger gestures. It would be incredibly awesome to be able to do some of the same simple gestures I do now but have them do different actions if it's with two fingers on the trackpad.

It would open up a whole new world of great gesture functionality when I'm using my laptop without a mouse. For example, right now I use a simple downward gesture to perform Exposé show Desktop. It'd be great if I could also use that same downward gesture to maybe switch between two Spaces or something whenever I use two fingers instead of one.

xGestures ReviewGodsend for me - Version: 1.74, 9/15/2009 03:04PM PST

Best gesture app of its kind for Mac or Windows. I literally would not upgrade my Mac OS without it. Saves immeasurable time and carpal tunnel syndrome to boot. Looking forward to future updates with more types of gestures, etc. ... I always breathe a heavy sigh of relief whenever it continues to get updated over time, it would be a disaster to lose this app. I use this for gestures in everything from Safari to Photoshop and it works almost flawlessly. When I want to flip an image in Photoshop I merely hold down my middle mouse button (the scroll wheel button) and gesture right... then *poof*... destroys the speed of most keyboard shortcuts while (once again) keeping carpal tunnel syndrome at bay all these years. Thank you dev for a great product!

This works perfectly and in all my applications. I only use fairly simple gestures left/right/up/down, and the 'enter' one (right, then down) to close a window

Some other have stated that they noticed slow response with xgestures... I've found it to be very fast, much faster than cocoa gestures. Doesnt seem to slow down my system or anything either. I'm on powerpc...

Good software you use should be paid for, and I have a hard time opening my wallet... but this great small app, at only $5, is clearly worth it.

The configuration is simple. Having "sets" of gestures for odd types of apps/etc would just complicate it I think...
