I have known about this app for many years but never gave it much thought (aside from the cool icon). I figured that between iDVD and Toast that there was no need for this app. I was wrong. This is the ONLY answer I found that would allow me to create a full 100% top quality DVD with subtitles. Real subs, not hard coded ones. I did need the help of MTR and Cinematize, but it is MovieGate that allows me to create a DVD from a DVD without recoding (i.e. loosing quality), AND still allows me to insert real subtitles! It lets mechange the font, size and location of the subs too. It's great software! I can now make my own high quality DVDs with English subtitles for DVDs that are in a foreign language, and don't come with English subs. Amazing!

Note, VisualHub, Submerge, ffmpegx, Toast, etc. are all great apps, but thay all require reencoding the video to a compressed format (quality loss) in order to do it. MovieGate does not.

Oh yeah, it's stable, cheap, and has a great manual too!
