Fax service could really use a new version on Mac - Version: 3.1.10, 7/23/2007 02:22AM PST

Sent and received a couple of faxes on the Mac after I got J2 messenger. A few months later and for some reason it crashes just before completion and won't send faxes. (on an otherwise healthy Macbook Pro). OK if you don't mind spending your life chasing vendor software bugs but less helpful if you need stuff that works. Still possible to send using the web interface to J2 messenger.

No way to auto-update, but since the most recent version is years old, that doesn't make a difference per se.

Phone service though is great. For that reason I recommend it.

Unless you sign up for the $$$$ you cant use it to send or recive FAXs and many other features.
