X-MasTree ReviewLove it! - Version: 1.2, 12/1/2005 08:48AM PST

Just downloaded it and decorated my tree this morning! Was wondering yet again about updates to Christi's Tree and bummed they're not doing it anymore, and found John's version, which is more fun. I find it very stable and happy on my desktop. I also noted, for my unfortunate co-workers who are on PCs, that there is NO Christmas tree for PCs at all! Hahahahaha! What scrooges. Thanks John! Love, MK

I don't have a new Mac and I do not have any CPU problems with X-MasTree. John makes lots of fun stuff and makes it right. Thanks for developing software again, John. You spend the time to make all of your applications user friendly, right down to the little things.

X-MasTree CommentaryNot hogging MY CPU - Version: 1.1, 12/14/2004 10:17AM PST

I've seen a lot of comments about excessive CPU loads, and frankly, I never saw it use more than about 4% on my computer. I even have some of the fading lights turned on which the author states WILL drag the CPU down. Haven't tried 1.2 yet, but I hope nothing is disabled. Cheers to John for responding quickly to user requests, even if they don't affect everyone. Viva la StimpSoft!

X-MasTree ReviewCPU Usage much reduced - Version: 1.2, 12/14/2004 10:06AM PST

The developer has responded very quickly to bring down CPU usage to a more realistic level (about 4% instead of 20%). Well done.

X-MasTree ReviewUses a lot of CPU - Version: 1.1, 12/13/2004 09:40PM PST

It's a cute app, but with two sets of lights blinking, it was using 20% of my CPU on my 933 mHz G4 iBook.

I thought that was rather high.

I trashed the app. If you don't mind the CPU usage, go ahead and use this.

X-MasTree ReviewToo CPU Intensive - Version: 1.1, 12/13/2004 02:39PM PST

Although it's very pretty there is no way that a piece of glitter like this should use 15-20% of the CPU on a 1GHz G4. I'd be happy to recommend it if the developer can reduce the excessive CPU utilization.

X-MasTree CommentaryChristmas on the 24th? - Version: 1.1, 12/13/2004 08:58AM PST

I'm sure in ALL european nations christmas still is on the 25th. But the Holy Night has become more important than christmas itself because people get their gifts and don't know (or don't care?) about the religious reasons for this holiday any more...
