iEmulator ReviewWorks very well for PPC Macs - Version: 1.7.9, 5/31/2007 04:28PM PST

Installed Dec 2005 on iMac G5 with 512 MB RAM and runs Windows ME--I know, I know--better than the PC I replaced with the iMac! (I only use it to run Microsoft Money and because I just don't want to lose years of financial records by switching to Mac-based software.)

Have since added 1 GB of RAM and it runs even better.

Truly first-rate manual with screenshots of what you will see as it holds your hand through the install. Has never crashed of hiccuped except when I did something foolish. When I did, I emailed their site and they responded almost immediately.

Can you folks compare performance of the current version of Q or QEMU with the likes of iEmulator and OpenOSX Wintel?

I am successfully running Vista on my MacBook Pro with Boot Camp, but do not want to reboot as frequently as I do. I am primarily using Vista for Office 2007 and Windows file tasks, so I don't think Boot Camp is necessary in this situation.

I am ready to purchase / spend time on the right solution.

Please advise.

Regards,

/e

iEmulator ReviewDoes exactly what I need it for - Version: 1.7.9, 3/7/2007 10:08AM PST

I'm a baseball fan, an specifically of Diamond MInd Baseball, which is solely a Windows based program. I bought Iemulator to run it. The installation for Iemulator are a model of what a manual should be. They take you step by step through what would normally be a hair-pulling process and made it a fairly easy. The price is reaosnable, and everything works as it is supposed to. What more can I say, except when I had a question about something the company responded almost immediately.
