Matinee is a 1-Click movie launcher for Mac users who rip DVD's to their hard drive. This application does not rip the DVD but provides a clean interface for accessing all the titles you have available to watch.

I really can't see the point of this product. Although it is a quite beautifully designed piece of software, with simplicity in mind, I think this is just not aimed at me: I mean, who would rip 5 or more DVDs and keep them in their HDs?

Matinee Troubleshooting Reportdvd player no longer plays video_ts - Version: 2.3, 8/20/2006 05:14PM PST

I loved this app, my daughter uses it for her movies, but now apple dvd player no longer allows the playing of video ts folders(media type not supported) so either apple has to fix this, or mayby the developer could allow for the use of VLC
