Fun, but CPU-intensive

Quite a fun game, but for some reason it gobbles up my iMac G5's CPU cycles. In fact, a temperature monitor reports that the CPU temp gets up over 78C after maybe 20 minutes of playing. I enjoy it, but probably won't consider the Deluxe version until I know why it uses so much power and if there's a way to reduce it.

Fine graphics, sounds .. and quite realistic animation. The different modes are cool, especially the retro one. Good breakout game. Request: a different background graphic at each level, to make it even more polished (it's just black now)

Everytime I try to launch, the screen blanks out a couple of times and the program disappears.

This is a great fast-paced game that plays well with Mac OS X.

I have discovered the crash, which is related to the sound engine we are using. I am working with the sound engine developer as fast as I can to fix this bug. The sound system is stable on 8.6 and all versions of OS X. It also appears, that this bug does not affect all OS 9 systems, which is the reason I missed it.
Unfortunately, it is rather difficicult to support an OS that Apple has declared dead. That being said, I realize that some have not switched to OS X, and I do the best I can to support the older OS as well. This is an unfortunate bug that is very random in nature, and slipped past me in the initial release.
As for support, I do provide support. Please keep in mind, that I am a one person outfit, and I have limited time. I split that time between trying to fix this bug, answering (a high volume of) emails, and spending time with my family. I do my best to have all emails answered within 24 hours (except on Sunday), and if I am behind, rest assured it is merely because I am swamped due to the recent release.

Constantly crashes, taking the entire machine down. Crapware. And don't believe the "homey" website. There is no tech support or refund. Avoid like the plague.
