would be nice if it didn't have to read all my 2000+ Synergy covers before choosing just a few dozen everytime I create a new picture. Better preview and drag and drop customization would be great. If it found your covers, made a searchable list where you could choose and make your own SuperDesktop.

Nice application.
To Pete, you can make changes to the default setting by click on "advance", e.g. rows and thumb sizes so that you can make te final picture full screen. I have tried and it worked.

SuperDesktop is a slam dunk on all three counts. It does exactly what it says it can do, it's stable, and it's free.
As a personal recommendation, try a few different options with the number of rows and columns.
