Popcorn CommentaryTrouble Downloading . . . - Version: 4.0.1, 11/23/2009 12:03PM PST

Vinita Boy
I just purchased Popcorn 4.0.1 from the Roxio website, to be electronically delivered. Halfway through the download process (via Speed Download 5.2.3/Safari on my iMac), the progress bar stopped, not to resume its activity for well over 30+ minutes.

In frustration I quit SD and Safari, relaunched both, and attempted to continue/complete downloading the Popcorn disk image. At this point I was rudely informed that I had already downloaded the program TOO MANY TIMES and would be forbidden from downloading it again.

Uh, WHAT? Is "0" times too many?

I have just finished writing their Customer Service department with this problem, and haven't heard back from them yet. I will be sure to let everyone know how this goes and how well they treat an honest customer.

Fingers crossed . . . .

I wonder what can v.4.0.1 do that v.3.0.4 and Toast 10 Pro cannot. Does anyone know ?

I bought this software to make backups of my DVD movies, as my 2-year-old-daughter has destroyed too many to replace. It won't decrypt the movies! It just gives me a "Sorry, we can't do this" notice when I insert a DVD movie. Ugh! I wasted $60 on the download and softeware disk and didn't get what I needed!

Does anyone have any decryption software suggestions to make this work? I'm on a Mac!
