Remote Growl Developer NoteWorth to mention, cronjobs and client on other OSes - Version: 1.0, 11/20/2004 02:46PM PST

Tezla

It is worth to mention that you cannot in any way send a notification message to Growl from a cron job using the standard Growl application.

But with Remote Growl you can send messages from cronjobs.

The server runs only on Mac OS X. But the client can run on any UNIX system, and do not require growl to be installed on the client computer.
