e2Sync ReviewWorks as advertised - Version: 0.9.2.7, 1/2/2005 01:39PM PST

Easy install and it works exactly as stated!! I highly recommend this product as the missing link between Entourage and the rest of the Mac Environment. I installed on my Titanium Power Book, 1Ghz, 1GB with no issues. Have to believe any install issues are "outside" app related. I understand this is beta code, but dropped a star for docs. However, that said, didn't really need any since it is pretty much self explanatory.

Well I am not sure about who read what. However, I did re-read the e2Sync v0.9.2.6 beta Release Notes.rtf. They state "Changes in 0.9.2.5 (041211)
Added: Calendar events now move to Entourage." This did not work for me from iCal 1.5.5 (v670) to Entourage Version 11.1.0. I have tried reinstall and removal without much sucess either. Could be me but my PowerBookG4 has been good to me and this is free software so :) I am trying to find a solution to get my address and calendar to my new Motorola V3 Razor. OnSync works great for the phone numbers.

e2Sync Developer NoteThese negative reviews are VERY suspicious! - Version: 0.9.2.6, 12/20/2004 09:44PM PST

The sudden rush of poor reviews within a few hours is sure suspicious after so many positive 4.5+ star reviews of our product!!

Many of the comments made do not make sense in relation to e2Sync even. Syncing works with the exception of reoccurring events from your device to Entourage and a few other minor things, which will be added soon. This is all mentioned in the release notes, but which the reviewers below clearly have not bothered to read.

We have a free 10-day trail, so the best thing is, ignore these suspiciously low ranked reviews, download the trial and try it yourself.

e2Sync ReviewNo ical/Entourage sync - Version: 0.9.2.6, 12/19/2004 12:38PM PST

The address book syncs flawlessly (with the category caveat mentioned below) but I've had no luck syncing my ical calendars with Entourage. Nothing syncs over. So, despite the usuability of the address book portion, the unusability of the calendar portion cuts the overall rating to 50%. No recommendation possible till this is fixed.

I recently downloaded the latest version of the e2sync software 9.2.5 beta to see if it changed the problem I was experiencing. It hasn't yet. I am researching software that will enable Edge Design (Corvallis, Oregon) to use Entourages Calendar with the staff'd pda's. This latest version still does not perform the sync with that specific calendar (Entourage) What it does do is flawlessly sync with Ical and with the contacts in Mac's Address book. Many of the staff are reluctant to upgrade to OS X because their current operation system (9.2+) allows them to use their handspring pda's with Microsoft's Entourage, allowing them to sync their calendars and email info into their pda's.

I am testing Isync's latest version and conduit with e2sync on a G5 using OS X v 10.3.6

I bought Gobetween. What a scam. They take your money and don't even answer support questions or questions about how to get your money back ´cause nothing's working. I was extremely sceptical trying e2Sync out. Specially when I learned that they used the same scheme as Gobetween (entourage ->iCal/Adressbook->iSync). But... itäs great. Finally I've found the solution that integrat all sides of my life! Easy to set up. Easy to use!

And this is a beta version ;-)

Ill say that as of yet I have had only one problem. I have certain apple script’s running and they error'd out after using the program. I do not know "YET" if this is the problem of the script or something that the software changed " scripts are e-mail related" I’ll figure that part out later. In the interim this program is very handy and I see myself using it often. I cant say anything about support I haven’t asked for any "yet" but the program installs flawlessly and runs pretty damned well.. It sounds as if others that have posted need to re-install it and try again because something just isn’t kosher with this. Keep up the good work , oh, ya a longer trial would be better maybe 20 day's?

As a betatester I patiently worked with the developers to squash a nasty bug as they approach their commercial release. I found them very responsive, persistent and working around the clock. Today I received a version that synced my Entourage database with iCal and apple address book seamlessly. I took it through its paces and it runs smoothly. This is how iSync is supposed to work. Apple should be delighted with e2Sync - this is why they wrote iSync: They are counting on these type of innovative developers. Try it out if syncing Entourage with iCal, Addressbook and your mobile phone is on your list.
