OK, here is the trick.

-You have to change the power setting from Auto - - - > Max (full) also under battery settings. Otherwisw you get K-panic.

But if you change these settings its possibe to gain another 100-150 mhz on all thoose iBooks.

Tested and good!

My iBook G3 had a little bit of an opposite reaction. It's actually (at least first boot-up after installation) slowed down! My computer was completely unstable right after the installation, and I had to power it off using the power button (poor thing). It wouldn't respond to the "Shut Down" or "Log Out" commands in the menubar. At least it came back halfway after the restart. It took forever to come back up.

Nice idea, but thumbs down from me. It works great for most people, but for the few that haven't had success, take note of them and make sure you know what you're doing to your computer. It may be more fatal than my experience! I like the concept, but I don't recommend the product to anyone else because it may be fatal! It's safer to get a new Mac with Leopard, iCam, and etc.

Just so you know...

This app was just great, it actually works.
Managed to get 150mhz more out of my iBook G3.
But my computer panics when I set it higher then 950Mhz,
otherwise just great, I noticed a speed increase and I am happy.
Good Job.
