NetBarrier Config File ReviewWonderful, however... - Version: 2.0.1, 6/25/2005 02:55PM PST

thomas_john_andrews
Being the usual security freak, I thought "wow, just back up my settings and put them back in by hand after importing NBConfig and all should be just fine"...betcha! After I had the sucker set up, it was wonderfully fine for what the configuration should deliver by itself. However, just add 10 more rules and "blam", big time kernal panic! Trying to change a single rule afterwards resulted in an immediate kernal panic each time and the illustrious apple darkened screen with the message in several languages, "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for...bla bla bla". It takes an atomic warhead to bring my G3 onto its knees, but this one succeeded thoroughly.
