I bought this and wasted my money. No, it's never caused me a problem, but it does the same stuff as TechTool Pro does so they are selling you the same product twice if you won both. On top of that, TTP's defragger is terrible and crashed many times causing much data loss for me. Do you think I'm going to truch PodLock's defragger? Heck no, as it's got to be the same code. ProSoft just released a similar product that copies its diagnostic app called Drive Genius. Personally, I find these companies trying to sell you the same code twice rather insulting. Do yourself a favor and pass on this app.

This product does nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch. If you have a Mac-formatted iPod it will defrag it (big deal). If you have a Windows-formatted (FAT) iPod, which is needed for multiple computers or OSes, it won't even do that. Beyond that, it does nothing. As in not a thing. Hidden files? Big deal, use Disk Utility and encrypt them. I have several useful MicroMat products, but this one was MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN. Maybe if this read and allowed configuration of iPod settings, it would be worth a $5-10 donation. But it doesn't, and it's not--let alone $30, $40 or $65.
