Product Description:

Get your Mac, a webcam, and Delicious Library and rediscover your home library. Just point any FireWire digital video camera, like an Apple iSight, at the barcode on the back of any book, movie, music, or video game. Delicious Library does the rest. The barcode is scanned and within seconds the item's cover appears on your digital shelves filled with tons of in-depth information downloaded from one of six different web sources from around the world.

Once your whole library is cataloged, you can find and use your items like never before. Browse, sort, and search through your digital shelves. Sync your cataloged library onto your iPod or print a color catalog and take it with you. Find and purchase new items using Delicious Library's personalized recommendations. Keep track of the items your friends are borrowing using Delicious Library's loan management system, which integrates with Apple's Address Book and iCal.

Take advantage of new, cutting-edge Mac OS X Tiger features with Delicious Library 1.5. Search though all of your library data using the Spotlight menu and enjoy anytime access to your entire collection with the brand new Delicious Library Dashboard widget.

What's new in this version:

  • There was a little typo in my store code in 2.1, which meant you couldn't actually purchase Delicious Library 2.
  • Whenever they'd plug in their iPhones, some users would see an odd exception: "NSInvalidArgumentException: getObjectValue:forString:errorDescription: blah blah blah". This should no longer ever happen.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.5 PPC

Delicious Library ReviewThe Best - Version: 2.1.1, 6/14/2009 05:36AM PST

Apple Design Award winner is a beautiful well thought out application, that continues to get better. Nothing compares with DL and now with the FREE iPhone application, I have not one complaint. Some users complain that developer takes to long to release updates/upgrades, I agree. However, I believe that the developer will not release an update/upgrade unless it is perfect.

I love PERFECTION and think DL 2.o has achieved perfection.

Delicious Library ReviewAn excellent update to a great product - Version: 2.1.1, 6/14/2009 12:23AM PST

Like Makosuke I've been using Delicious Library since Version 1.0. In all that time my biggest complaint has been the introduction of the horizontal details pain <- notice intended pun ;-)

I have hundreds of movies and albums and well over a thousand books cataloged so far and the application launches quickly and has been very stable.

On top of this I can now sync with my iPhone. Two thumbs up!

I dropped one star in "Support / Documentation" due to the lack of online help but you really don't need it as the application is pretty intuitive.
