I started using version 6.2 today and a feature was added I had asked for, being able to selectively notified if a user was online. I just wanted to know when certain friends were online, not all of them :) I asked for this two weeks ago

iAlert had been good before. I think it is perfect now

iAlert CommentaryCaused multiple crashes... - Version: 6.1, 8/26/2005 12:41AM PST

after installing the latest version. I was unable to start Mail or Safari. Did some troubleshooting (uninstalled ialert) and they still crashed after logout and login. Checked console crash logs and both pointed to a left over file called ialert helper in the input managers folder. Removed those then logged out and back in and, voilá, all was working again. Uninstaller needs to do a better job of cleaning up for itself.

Tried the Panther version (from the developer's website). I just needed a simple notifier when I receive a new mail, that's it. It doesn't do the job.
